I consider myself so lucky that my mother moved to Paris a few years ago. She randomly went to Paris for vacation and met a lovely French man that would become her husband. A few months later she shocked our entire family by picking up everything and moving to Paris to be with him. Since then Paris has become my second home. It's truly one of the best cities in the world. The vibe is always super casual and relaxed, far from the intense vibe here in the states. Paris has this feeling of utter leisure and sophistication that is impossible not to love. Not to mention, it looks absolutely beautiful, especially in the summertime. It's so romantic, there is even a man that lives on my mother street that starts playing "La Vie En Rose" on his sax at 6 am every other day. How's that for an alarm clock? Let's not forget about the buildings, the art museums, the cafes, the Seine river, the Eiffel Tower and THE SHOPPING!
My beautiful mom and husband!
Here are some of the cool pictures that I managed to capture while out and about!
I love walking the streets all day. They are typically filled with people but every now and then you may stumble onto a completely quiet and serene street like this....
You will also find these super cool pictures on the sides of most buildings!
I love walking along the Seine River!
Look at how beautiful this restaurant is. Luckily, the floral decor is all over Paris. You will see restaurants like this everywhere.
The Eiffel Tower at night is truly a sight!
You can also find tons of vegan bakeries everywhere. Checkout this yummy lemon meringue tart.
I'll be doing another post of all my vegan finds as well.
